You see my husband of nine years cheated on me. I was so mad that I wanted to divorce him right then and there. I kicked him out of the house and begun living a hermit life. I never felt like a failure in my life. My marriage, my family was everything to me, but still I couldn’t make it work. It was the darkest moment in my life. Even though I was the one who has been betrayed and cheated, I cannot help blaming myself for what happened. I got so hopeless, so bitter, and so insecure that when my husband asked for forgiveness, I never believed him. I was so committed in hurting him so bad, but later realized that I was only hurting myself and killing myself slowly.

I realized that I cannot go on being a victim, myself is all I’ve got, yet I am not taking care of her as properly as I should.

So what I did was to get my act together. I stopped wallowing in bitterness and thought of the first thing that could cheer me up. So I went out, walked on the park and enjoyed the fresh wind in my face. After keeping myself inside of the house for several days, this is what I wanted.

Then, I went to a saloon. I had a haircut, manicure, pedicure, a massage, and all the works. It was really great. I started feeling good about myself and realized that there are so much beautiful thing on this earth that to be dwell on the pain.

When my husband asked me to talk to him and asked for another shot at love, I gave me a chance, but not without giving my conditions. So I laid all my marriage rules and observing him becoming the guy I fell in love with in the first place . The secret that help save my marriage was to never be afraid to face your fears and face the problems head on.
